Live vaccine for active immunisation of pigs against Classical Swine Fever

Live freeze-dried vaccine, THIVERVAL strain

 

 

COGLAPEST® is an attenuated live vaccine prepared from the THIVERVAL strain and produced on homologous diploid cells. The THIVERVAL strain is a “cold” mutant of swine fever virus obtained by passaging many times in cell culture at low temperature.

This THIVERVAL strain provides:

  • Early appearance of immunity (5 - 12 days)
  • High immunogenicity
  • Long-lasting immunity after a single injection (4 - 8 months)
  • Protection against all Hog Cholera variants
  • Absence of pathogenicity
  • No post-vaccinal reaction
  • No teratogenicity
  • No effect on fertility or fecundity
