On 14 January 2020, Ceva Animal health inked several agreements for the development of new vaccines solutions adapted to the needs of Vietnamese livestock producers, and a project for the development of alternatives to antibiotics.
Vietnam, a historic market for Ceva
Aided by strong growth in both income and population, Vietnam’s livestock sector has grown rapidly over the last decade.

The agreements signed today illustrate Ceva commitment to support key Vietnam Livestock disease control initiatives, during a period of challenge with ASF. Witnessed by the MARD, Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development, Ceva Animal Health sealed their commitment several project initiatives:
- Industrial technology transfer and collaboration with Vietnamese AH company AVac aimed at manufacture and supply of effective local Foot and Mouth disease (FMD) vaccines, specially adapted to the local epidemiology
- A project to develop viable alternatives to traditional Antibiotics use in food producing animals
- A collaboration with Vietnam to collaborate to ongoing vaccine research & development programs targeting African Swine Fever control
