Vaccinology Tour 2014 in Vietnam

This seminar updated the lastest information about two avian contagious infectious diseases (IBD & ND).

Ceva Animal Health is deeply committed to researching, developing, marketing and supporting poultry vaccines as well as poultry vaccination processes. For this reason, Ceva Vietnam has recently conducted a technical seminar ‘Vaccinology Tour 2014’ on 12th & 13th Jun, 2014 at Biên Hòa city, Đồng Nai province.

This event was a chance to update the latest information about Infectious Bursa Disease (IBD) and discuss about the important issues that customers always face in the daily working. These extensive presentations were translated by Pr. Lam Thi Thu Huong - Nong Lam University HCMC.

The topics in this ‘Vaccinology Tour 2014’ was:

  • Avian Vaccinology: Developing Relevant Immunity (Infectious Bursal Disease) - Dr. Christophe CAZABAN, DVM, Global Veterinary Services Manager – Knowledge Manager, Ceva France: to help the attendants know more about IBDV.
  • Controlling the Gumboro Disease (instead of only protecting) - Dr. Christophe CAZABAN: to propose the efficacy solution
    to control IBD in the farm.
  • The final solution for controlling ND in Vietnam - Dr. Nitiwat Kaewpoowat - Regional Market Manager Poultry, Ceva Animal Health Asia Pacific: to present the special properties of NDV, the principle of three types of ND vaccines and the comparative experiments in farm.
